Communities we serve
A Ventura County city north of the Conejo Valley that grew from agricultural roots into a commuter community of newer neighborhoods.
Moorpark sits north of Thousand Oaks, and the 23 freeway runs almost directly from it to the 101 at the edge of Westlake Village. The Palm Coast office on Townsgate Road is a short distance from that interchange.
Meetings take place by Zoom or in person at the Westlake Village office, whichever you prefer. Meeting format and availability can be discussed when scheduling, and the first conversation is complimentary.

About Moorpark
Moorpark incorporated in 1983 and is home to Moorpark College, part of the Ventura County Community College District. Once known for its apricot orchards, the city grew rapidly through the 1980s and 1990s as master-planned neighborhoods were built for families commuting to Thousand Oaks, the San Fernando Valley, and beyond, and it retains agricultural land and family-owned businesses at its edges.
Moorpark households are frequently in the accumulating years: two incomes, mortgages, children heading toward college, employer retirement plans, and the first real conversation about estate documents. Some own farms or family businesses with succession questions of their own. Planning here is about building a sound structure and a saving discipline early, so that the retirement decisions of the 2040s and beyond are made from strength.
Planning priorities
Match capture, pre-tax versus Roth contributions, health savings accounts, and disability coverage, elected on purpose rather than by default.
Guardians, a revocable trust for the home, beneficiary designations, and powers of attorney, coordinated with your attorney.
Retirement plans for the company, protection for the owners, and a succession path that treats children inside and outside the business fairly.
An allocation built for a long horizon and held tax-efficiently, with a plan that does not depend on guessing the market.

Yes, in coordination with your attorney and CPA. The questions are how the land and operation pass to the next generation, how children not involved are treated fairly, how the parents are provided for, and how property tax reassessment under Proposition 19 affects the plan.
